As we charge on into December, Delta Nove has responded with a new disc of fitting, familiar songs. Delta Noves Holiday Party offers the bands take on such standards as ‘Frosty in Wonderland’ and ‘You’re a Mean One Mister Grinch. However, as is the bands want, Delta Nove crosses genres (and religions) with ‘Little Samba Boy’ and ‘Dreidl Bells. Meanwhile, the groups original, ‘Yuletide Worm,’ evokes visions of Tequila Christmas Cake. On Friday Delta Nove brings its World Funk to Humboldt Brews in Arcata, CA.
