Richard Devine is an Atlanta-based musician with ties to the both the computer and art worlds. This aligns him quite closely with the spirit and intent of STS9, who invited him to the stage for two of its three shows at the Tabernacle this past weekend. On Saturday he joined the band for a series of improvisations that segued throughout the first set. The collaboration was so successful that he returned the next night througout the second set at the Atlanta venue, offering his own electronic touches to the bands original material, including Ramone & Emiglio, Inspire Strikes Back and Moonsocket.
