Over the next four weeks, Philadelphia-based band The Brakes will travel to New Yorks Knitting Factory for regular Tuesday performances. The group will then return to its home city for a series of Thursday gigs (which began last week) at the intimate venue, Milkboy. The Phili gigs will offer more stripped down arrangements of songs in the groups catalog, while the NYC shows will feature full-on electric sets (with some guest musicians expected) which the band will be recording with an eye towards a future release.
