With summer festival season rapidly approaching our eyes and ears are drifting outdoors. Beginning next month, folks in Richmond, VA will have an opportunity to hear some free music as part of the towns annual free concert series on Browns Island. This years festivities will stretch from May 11 to June 29 and feature scene staples like Carbon Leaf (5/11), The Lee Boys and the DJ Williams Projekt (5/18), Soulive and Existor (6/1), Keller Williams (6/8), AAE and Crucial Elements (6/15), Drive-by Truckers (6/22) and The Slip (6/29). Each concert will stretch from 6-9:30 PM on a Friday evening.
