Mickey Hart has confirmed a national fall tour with his Global Drum Project. The world-music ensemble, which features Hart, Zakir Hussain, Giovanni Hidalgo and Skiru Adepoju, will open its outing on September 20 at Tucson AZs Centennial Hall. From there, the ensemble will make stops across the country, including Albuquerque NM (9/22), Boulder CO (9/23), Chico (9/27), Berkeley, (9/28), Arcata CA (9/30), Atlanta (10/5), Birmingham AL (10/6), Annapolis MD (10/9), Washington, DC (10/11), Storrs CT (10/12), Burlington VT (10/13), Poughkeepsie NY (10/14), University Park, PA (10/16), Pittsburgh, PA (10/18), Lansing MI (10/20), Columbus OH (10/21), Glen Ellyn IL (10/25), Madison WI (10/26) and Minneapolis MN (10/27). Before then, the Mickey Hart Band will appear at the Gathering of the Vibes in August.
