The latest band member to appear on SIRIUS Satellite Radios Grateful Dead Channel is Mickey Hart. On Monday, October 15th at 1:30pm EST Kart will present live tracks from his ongoing Global Drum Project Tour. In addition, he will speak with his current collaborators, Zakir Hussain, Giovanni Hidalgo and Skiru Adepoju. Earlier this month, Hart’s longtime Grateful Dead partner in Drumz, Bill Kreutzmann, appeared on the Channel via the Drumming Into The Light program. As for the Global Drum Project, the quartet will appear in Storrs, CT tonight at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts.
