Since tonight marks the start of the Jewish Festival of Lights, it only seems appropriate for us to offer some news concerning the Hanukkah inspired group the LeeVees (which features Gusters Adam Gardner). On the heels of Gusters 2005 appearance with The Boston Pops, The LeeVees will play one acoustic song on their own and one song with the famed ensemble at Symphony Hall on December 12. The high profile gig is part of the groups now annual Hanukkah outing, which also includes free shows at Minneapolis, MNs The Whole Music Club tomorrow and Madison, WIs Hillel Foundation at the University of Wisconsin Thursday. Looking a bit further into the holiday season, the LeeVees will perform at Grand Rapids, MIs Temple Emanuel (12/7), as part of the The 8: Hanukkah Worldwide Show at Washington, DCs Sixth and I (12/8) and New Yorks Highline Ballroom (12/23).
