Page McConnells first official performances in 2008 will benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and the Tipitina’s Foundation. The former Phish keyboardist will play two shows with his Vida Blue drummer Russell Batiste, Tea Leaf Green/JFJO bassist Reed Mathis and singer/guitarist Papa Mali as part of the Mardi Gras-themed Big Easy Blowout. The all-star jam sessions will take place at Colorados Boulder Theater on January 25 and Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on January 26, with Euforquestra supporting on both nights. Special guests are expected.
