The New Orleans All-Stars will head west for a series of California shows this week. The all-star group, which features Big Easy regulars George Porter, Cyril Neville, Henry Butler and Raymond Weber, will appear at Chico, CAs Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. this evening. The quartet will then play two shows at Oakland, CAs Yoshi’s Jazz Club (5/13-14) and offer a gig at Modesto, CAs Gallo Center For The Arts (5/15). Looking ahead, Porter has also confirmed that he will both perform PBS and participate in some sort of superjam on the New Orleans stage at Bonnaroo this June.
