Last month Matt McDonald performed his final gig as a member of Perpetual Groove. While the keyboard player has indicated that he needed to take time off the road to be with his family, it appears that he will still be able to pick to the occasional gig. As a result he will join SeepeopleS for a series of shows over the coming months. McDonald will lend a second set of keys to the group for shows on June 20 (Sassy Anne’s, Knoxville, TN), June 21 (Lincoln Theatre, Raleigh, NC), June 26 (Georgia Theatre, Athens, GA an at the Trinumeral Festival in Deerfields, NC on August 8. Next up for SeepeopleS is a June 19 show in Nashville at On The Rocks.
