Later this month the 12th annual installment of MagnoliaFest will return to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. Bill Kreutzmann will bring his current trio to MagFest, as he returns to the stage with Oteil Burbridge and Scott Murawski. The festival will present a few other artists with Grateful Dead connections, with performances by Donna Jean & The Tricksters (featuring GD alum Donna Jean Godchaux MacKay) as well as Peter Rowan (who joined Jerry Garcia in the initial incarnation of Old And In The Way), Melvin Seals & JGB Band and longtime Grateful Dead Hour host David Gans. The roster of performers also includes: Sam Bush Band, The Avett Brothers, Donna the Buffalo, The Duhks, The Lee Boys, Jim Lauderdale, Joe Craven Duo, Blueground Undergrass, Col. Bruce Hampton & The Quark Alliance and Moonalice. MagnoliaFest will take place from October 23-26.
