On November 18, Mercer Street Records will issue the latest recording from Femi Kuti. Day By Day marks the first studio release in seven years from Kuti, who is joined by his seventeen piece band Positive Force. The disc offers twelve tracks that build on many of the musical and lyrical themes established by Kuti’s father, the late Fela Kuti. Kuti and Positive Force will support the new disc with a month of European touring that begins on October 26 in Brussels. No United States dates have been added as yet, although Femi Kuti likely will be quite visible over the coming days, as he appears along with Mandy Moore in Brett Dennen’s ‘Make You Crazy’ video.
