Last week, we reported on the latest and upcoming endeavors from moe.‘s Rob Derhak, Chuck Garvey, Jim Loughlin and Vinnie Amico. However, the band member who may be most visible during the fall months while moe. remains off the road, is Al Schnier. On October 31, Basemental Records will release the new studio project from Al & The Transamericans, This Day & Age. Basemental will issue a limited edition series of 1000 copies and all pre-orders will be signed and numbered by Schnier. In addition, those who pre-order will have access to alternate takes and versions of the music that appears on This Day & Age. Al & The Transamericans will support the disc with a few weeks of touring, beginning with a CD release event on Halloween at the Electric Company in Utica, NY.
