Former Widespread Panic guitarist George McConnell is about to release some of the music that he has created since his tenure in that band. McConnell, who also performed for some time with Beanland and Kudzu Kings will be releasing songs in a ‘Virtual 45’ format, offering up two at a time, much like the A side / B side style of a traditional single. McConnell will release two such packages on November 4, with the first of these pairing ‘Goodbye, So Long’ and ‘In Walked You’ and the second offering ‘Hollywood Babylon’ and ‘Feel No Pain.’ He will celebrate these with a performance at Proud Larry’s in Oxford, Mississippi on Friday, November 7.
