The first volume in Neil Youngs fabled archival series will finally see the light of day on June 2.
Neil Young Archives Vol 1. 1963-1972 includes Youngs earliest recordings with The Squires in Winnipeg, 1963, through to his classic 1972 album _Harvest _. The interactive set also traces his work with
Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Neil Young with Crazy Horse through numerous live and studio recordings. More than a traditional retrospective, the groundbreaking series will include archival images, memorabilia and an interactive timeline feature, which presents an in-depth overview of Young’s life and career. The set will be available in both Blu-ray and standard DVD editions, The Timeline on the Blu-ray edition is enhanced with BD Live capability, which enables users to download additional content to their players or to external drives.
