Prince/Bowie have announced a Fall 2024 tour, plotting stops in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Honoring the immortal legacies of two of rock’s biggest stars, the tribute ensemble bands together a revolving roster of familiar faces to the jam scene, including Pink Talking Fish creator Eric Gould, who will play bass in every city. Each performance will also a trio of jam-friendly vocalists, comprising Josh Schwartz of Remain In Light, Shannon Lynch of Conehead Buddha and Pink Talking Fish’s Cal Kehoe. The broader lineup will feature members of Pink Talking Fish, Twiddle, lespecial, Remain In Light, Cool Cool Cool, Lotus, Deep Banana Blackout and more through its nine-show run. 

The band will kick off its fall tour on Sept. 6 with a Goose afterparty at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., followed by a Sept. 7 performance at Feed Franklin Festival, a food bank benefit in Franklin, N.J. After a staging at Greenfield, Mass.’s Wormtown Music Festival on Sept. 14., the band will return to the Empire State for a LonCon Festival Official Pre-Party at Syracuse’s The Westcott Theater on Sept. 19 before bearing downstate to its highly-anticipated headlining performance at Brooklyn Bowl the following evening, Sept. 20. Following its next shows at Pembroke, Mass.’s Soundcheck Studios and Plymouth, N.H.’s The Flying Monkey on Oct. 4 and 5, the group will close out their fall tour with an evening at The Cabot in Beverly, Mass. on Dec. 14.

As Prince/Bowie features a rotating litany of top-rated jam musicians, every show in its new series will be unique. The tour’s lineup includes drummers Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle/Kung Fu), Rory Dolan (lespecial) and Zack Burwick (PTF), as well as guitarists Kehoe, Tim Palmieri (Lotus/Kung Fu) and Ryan Liatsis (ShwizZ). Steve Learson (PTF) and Kiran Edwards (Residual Groove) will play keyboard, and Sammi Garett (Cool Cool Cool/Remain In Light) will provide vocals and percussion. The horns section features Schwartz on baritone saxophone, Greg Sanderson (Cool Cool Cool) on tenor saxophone, Chris Brouwers (Cool Cool Cool) on trumpet, Rob Somerville on tenor saxophone and Rob Volo on trombone.
