Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit will return to Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium for another residency this fall. The group’s upcoming appearances at the historic venue will take place October 10-13 and 17-20. Each show will feature a special opening act: Alice Randall (10/10),
Garrison Starr (10/11), Mary Gauthier (10/12), Caitlin and Liz Rose (10/13), Matraca Berg (10/14), Iris DeMent (10/18), Gretchen Peters (10/19) and Kim Richey (10/20).

Isbell first hosted a Ryman run in 2015 and has regularly staged a residency there annually since 2017, despite a few years off due to the pandemic. The musician, who first played Bonnaroo in 2003 with Drive-By Truckers, closed out the Which Stage with the 400 Unit this past Sunday. Rising pop star Chappell Roan, whose set was moved from a tent to the massive Which Stage after drawing capacity crowds to New York’s Gov Ball, played the space before Isbell. Kacey Musgraves was among the onlookers.

Isbell will appear with Zach Bryan at Detroit, MI’s Ford Field this Thursday.
