Oteil Burbridge, the acclaimed bassist and multi-instrumentalist of Dead & Company, the Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and more, has added an additional pair of appearances to his Oteil & Friends Fall 2024 tour. Arriving as the final engagements of a 16-stop run, these dates will bring the all-star ensemble to Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver for a special Halloween-themed two-night booking on November 1 and 2.

For his 2024 tour, Burbridge has assembled an ensemble of longtime collaborators and jam heavyweights to deliver his trademark treatments of classic cuts from the Dead, the Allmans and other oddities. The band on this run comprises Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jason Crosby, John Kimock, Tom Guarna and Lamar Williams, Jr. The ensemble will cruise into its tour closing pair after two months of racing down the West Coast and up the East; this stint on the road will be highlighted by pairs of shows at Berkeley, Calif.’s UC Theatre on Sept. 13 and 14, The Pour House in Charleston, S.C. on Sept. 19 and 20 and Ardmore, Pa.’s Ardmore Music Hall on Oct. 17 and 18, followed by a penultimate staging at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. on Oct. 19.

These newly announced sets follow the release of “Love and War (Live from Mexico),” a ripping eight-minute performance featuring members of the Friends ensemble plus Duane Betts, Jennifer Hartwick, Natalie Cressman and more. Recorded live at 2024’s Dead Ahead concert getaway in January, the track is available on all streaming platforms now. Watch the official video of the live performance below.

Presale for Oteil & Friends’ tour-closing Halloween shows in Denver will open tomorrow, May 22 at 10 a.m. MT; fans can secure their passes before the general onsale–which begins this Friday, May 24 at 12 p.m. MT–with code LOVEANDWAR.
