On Saturday Dec. 7, Bob Weir joined a star-studded house band at The Fillmore in San Francisco for an intimate recreation of the Grateful Dead’s American Beauty.

Billed as Lebo and the Arrows of Neon, the collective was led by Dan ‘Lebo’ Lebowitz of ALO and featured Jackie Greene, Todd Schaefer, John Skeehan, and Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth.

The crowd of around 200 were able to take in the sounds of the Grateful Dead songbook all while celebrating 35 years of the Rex Foundation, which celebrates “giving back the Grateful Dead way” by supporting “over 1,300 grassroots organizations.” Weir also serves as a board member of the organization.

Additional performers for the evening included Jason Crosby, T Sisters, Ben and Alex Morrison (Brothers Comatose), Lesley Grant, Wally Ingram, Robin Sylvester, Scott Law, and Matt Butler.
