Following the private funeral for Gregg Allman in Macon, GA over the weekend, a number of attendees and fans headed over to “The Big House,” the Allman Brothers Museum, for a special performance in his honor.
As Variety reports, longtime Allmans associate Junior Mack and Berry Oakley’s son joined Allman’s solo band for a performance that included a take on “Stormy Monday,” available to watch below.
Allman was laid to rest on Saturday afternoon where he was buried beside brother Duane Allman and former ABB bassist Berry Oakley. Among those in attendance included former President Jimmy Carter, Dickey Betts, Allman’s ex-wife Cher and a number of former bandmates and friends.
