Back on June 7, Furthur performed at Bob Weir’s new Tamalpais Research Institute (aka TRI Studios) for the first time. The “Furthur Experiments at TRI” yielded a single, flowing set. Now Weir and TRI have announced that next Friday, December 23, TRI will rebroadcast that performance for “The Night Before The Night Before Christmas” special. What’s more, TRI notes that on Wednesday December 21 it will offer a “Scaring The Children” Christmas special from Bob and TRI (which presumably will be a set from Weir, Rob Wasserman, Jay Lane and perhaps some additional guests).
