After raging a three-night stand at Colorado’s Red Rocks last weekend, Umphrey’s McGee returned to the East Coast last night for a stop at SummerStage in New York’s Central Park, and the band welcomed a frequent collaborator for the encore.
The two-set performance entertained the outdoor crowd with UM classics like “Miss Tinkle Overture” and “Plunger,” along with revisits of “Bridgeless” in the first frame and “Mantis” in the second. To round out the night, the band brought out TAUK drummer Isaac Teel, who added persussion to “Rocker Part 2.” Teel has collaborated with Umphrey’s in the past, including in their multiple performances with TAUK members as TAUKing McGee.
See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Umphrey’s McGee continue their summer tour with a slot at Massachusetts’ Levitate Festival today and a stop at Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony tomorrow night.
