Last night at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Carlos Santana reunited his original Santana band lineup for their first performance together since 1973.

The show saw the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band once again comprised of guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Gregg Rolie, percussionist Michael Carabello and drummer Michael Shrieve. The band first formed in 1967 and released their last album together, Santana III, in 1971. Schon and Rolie went on to form the band Journey. This iteration of the group is dubbed “Santana IV,” which is also the name of their upcoming album, set for release on April 15.

“This is a dream come true for us,” Carabello told USA Today. “The prophesy has been fulfilled. We are again, one.” The performance will be broadcast on American Public Television later this year.

In other Santana news, the guitarist has also announced that he will play in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the city’s Hayarkon Park on July 30. Ticket sales for the show are on sale now.
