Last night in Indianapolis, Warren Haynes continued his current Ashes & Dust Tour in support of his recent Railroad Earth collaboration album of the same name.
For the tour, Haynes is joined by the Ashes & Dust Band, which includes drummer Jeff Sipe and string outfit ChessBoxer. Last night’s show saw the guys interpreting Neil Young (“Revolution Blues”) and Bob Dylan (“I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight”) before finishing with an cover-filled encore.
Old Crow Medicine Show’s Gill Landry, who is opening for Haynes on this leg of the tour, came back on stage for a rendition of the Grateful Dead’s “Loser,” then Haynes and his backers closed out the night with a run of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Jessica.”
