Yusuf aka Cat Stevens will hit the road for his first North American tour in over 35 years and will also release a new album, Tell ‘Em I’m Gone on October 27. The 10-track compilation will serve as the follow-up to 2009’s Roadsinger. The album was co-produced by Rick Rubin and also features contributions from Richard Thompson, Bonnie Billy, Tinariwen, Matt Sweeney and Charlie Musselwhite.

Yusuf will embark on the “Peace Train…Late Again” Tour beginning November 4 in London but will bring his show to North America on December 1 in Toronto and will make stops in Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles throughout the month of December.
