The fifth installment of the GarciaLive series will come in the form of Jerry Garcia Band’s 1975 New Year’s Eve show at the Keystone in Berkeley, CA. Serving as the band’s only New Year’s Eve show, this three-set performance features Jerry and John Kahn joined by Sly and the Family Stone drummer Greg Errico along with Nicky Hopkins on keys.
Special guests throughout the show include fellow Grateful Dead mates Bob Weir and Mickey Hart as well as Kingfish’s Matt Kelly for the second and third sets. A release date as well as preorder info is expected in the coming weeks.
