After sharing the stage a few times, Particle’s Steve Molitz, The Doors’ Robbie Krieger and Oingo Boingo/Mutaytor’s John Avila formed the side-project The Roadhouse Rebels. In May, the three musicians will perform as The Roadhouse Rebels once again, only this time with some additional star power. Molitz—who has spent the past few months touring as part of Rich Robinson’s band—has added Robinson and his drummer Joe Magistro to the group’s lineup.

The shows’ setlists will feature a range of material, including Doors standards, classic soul and rock ‘n roll covers from the ‘60s and ‘70s and material from Robinson’s new Through A Crooked Sun album. As of press time, the group will perform at a TBA venue in Los Angeles on May 25, Clarks Grove, MN’s Bella Fiore Music Festival on May 26 and Denver, CO’s The Oriental Theater on May 27.
