After a three year hiatus, reggae and ska act Toots and the Maytals will return to the road with a brief tour beginning June 15 in California.
The tour will celebrate the culmination of three years of extensive physical rehabilitation for Frederick “Toots” Hibbert after an incident in May 2013 in Richmond, VA when a glass liquor bottle was thrown from the audience and struck him in the forehead.
“It has been a difficult three years,” said Hibbert. “But I am very happy to be able to now get back together with my musical family and prepare to share my music once again with my incredible fans.”
