Brendan Benson & Friends will host a benefit concert at Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium on December 18. A number of special guests will join Benson during the performance, including his Raconteurs partner Jack White, Adriel Denae, The Animals’ Eric Burdon, Jessie Baylin, Butch Walker, The Posies/Big Star’s Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer, Cory Chisel, Willy Mason and Young Hines. The Howlin’ Brothers will open the ngiht and perform with Benson. The show will benefit the David Lynch Foundation with proceeds going to veterans and at-risk children in the Nashville area.

Benson will release his next album You Were Right on November 29 via his own Readymade Records with distribution through Thirty Tigers. Recorded at Benson’s Nashville-based Readymade Studios, some of the album’s 15 tracks premiered over the past year as part of Benson’s monthly singles series, which can be found here.
