On July 18 and 19, Joe Marcinek’s Dead Funk Summit will perform two late-night Phish After Parties. The pair of performances is set for the Epiphany Center for the Arts, a quick walk from the United Center, where the Vermont foursome’s concerts are slated to take place.
The impending performances will feature a lineup comprised of jam scene luminaries, including Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit), and Marcinek.
The group’s announcement via social media garnered a response from Brownstein, who wrote in the comment section of the group’s post, “I’m so excited to do these shows man. I’ve been watching Apt. Q-258 since I was a kid. Lifelong dream to play with @sipedrums.”
