Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist and member of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Isaac Eady, has shared details pertaining to a trio of upcoming performances in the Big Apple featuring his Third Moon ensemble. The New Orleans-based artist and his band will treat audiences to a psychedelic evening of funk, soul and rock-and-roll beginning on Saturday, April 14, at New York’s Bitter End.

Continuing their New York visit, Third Moon will take their talents to Nublu for a follow-up slated for Sunday, April 16. The band, which Eady described in a new Jambands.com interview as “A five-piece broken down acoustic vibe,” will show up at Brooklyn Bowl for their third and final show during their Empire State visit. Prior to Third Moon’s Brooklyn Bowl stand, doNYC Presents: Neighborhood Sessions will open the night at 6 p.m. Learn more and RSVP here.

Teasing what’s to come, Eady noted the forthcoming gigs, “I’m so excited about what’s happening with this band, it’s really beautiful. We’re getting a lot of momentum. We actually have a showcase coming up at the Brooklyn Bowl for April 16th. I have an unreleased album that I’m trying to get as many ears on as possible.”

I’m really confident in this band. We just drove to Key West and played at the Green Parrot and played for two days — three 90-minute sets a day — and we only really repeated a couple of songs. Brandon Boone played with us and he’s never rehearsed with us, but you would never know it.”  [Laughs.]
