Pickathon Music Festival has shared the full artist lineup for its 2024 presentation, returning to Pendarvis Farm in Oregon’s Happy Valley on August 1-4. 25 years after the festival’s 1999 debut, Pickathon continues to offer a carefully curated “discovery festival,” casting a diverse constellation of rising stars from indie, folk, rock, jazz, funk and more alongside iconic legacy acts to emphasize uncommon and inspiring music experiences. This year, the event displays a renewed commitment to hosting top-tier headliners, with Courtney Barnett, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Elephant Revival, Durand Jones and Vacations leading over 50 acts at the unique Oregon tradition.
Beyond the headliners, Pickathon will welcome an array of other exciting performers, including CocoRosie, Jess Williamson, Chance Peña, Geese, Searows, Vincent Neil Emerson, Ratboys, The Soul Rebels, water from your eyes, LA LOM, MSPaint and Billie Marten. This roster is elevated by the festival’s unique tradition of hosting dual performances from its artists at two different venues in the sprawling farmland setting. For perspective attendees unfamiliar with the festival’s selections this year, Pickathon’s previous offerings give some indication of its prophetic curation: Billy Strings, Tyler Childers, Khruangbin, Sturgill Simpson, Big Thief, Thundercat, Ty Segal, Neko Case, Colter Wall, Black Pumas and Bill Callahan number among those artists that took the stage at the festival before attaining the star-status they currently enjoy.
