Real Estate have announced a new set of European dates for this fall. Set to start in Paris on Sept. 24 at La Trabendo, the group will make six additional stops in Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands before four nights in the UK. Last night, in the final leg of its preceding U.S. run, the band called on prolific comedian and drummer Fred Armisen to support a performance at The Bellwether in Los Angeles.

After a first night in Paris, Real Estate will perform in Leuven, Belgium on Sept. 25 at Het Depot. The run will continue to Hamburg, Germany’s Logo on Sept. 26 before stops in Sweden and Denmark. On Sept. 30, the band will return to Germany for a set at Berlin’s Lido prior to a night in the Netherlands. The group will then head to the UK for a performance at London’s esteemed Hackney Church on Oct. 3, followed by a night in Leeds on Oct. 4 at the iconic Stylus and an Oct. 5 set at the Newcastle University Students’ Union in Newcastle. The band’s European sojourn will culminate in a final performance on Oct. 6 in Glasgow at The Garage.

Before traveling to the other side of the pond, the band will work through the remainder of its 31-stop North American tour, now in its final West Coast leg. Last night, March 11, fans at Real Estate’s penultimate U.S. date in Los Angeles were surprised by an appearance from Armisen, who joined the Jersey natives on stage for a mix of percussion through the set. Armisen, esteemed as much as an instrumentalist as an entertainer, is noted for regularly courting this sort of sit-in and crushed Real Estate originals for the majority of the show. Armisen also participated in a rendition of Weezer’s “Sweater Song” which the group previously busted out during its bingo set, which kicked off the Californian leg of its tour from San Francisco’s The Independent.

The Infinite Jangle Tour supports Real Estate’s latest record, Daniel, released on Feb. 23 via Domino Recording Co. To launch this highly-anticipated return, the group presented a series of special themed engagements through release week. The band’s Rock N Roll Bingo show The Independent utilized a classic bingo cage to elicit a random mix of original material, debut covers and odd-ends (e.g. switch instruments!) to ring in a new chapter while honoring the expansive catalog. Real Estate made prior stops across New York, first with a self-consciously quirky Daniel show at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Union Pool on release day and then with a stripped-back, intimate acoustic trio set at Rough Trade.

General on-sale for Real Estate’s European tour begins Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. local time. For tickets and more information, visit realestatetheband.com.
