Today, Dogs In A Pile announced two shows set to celebrate the holidays at The Stone Pony in their hometown of Asbury Park. The two-night run will commence on Dec.15 and 16, continuing their holiday tradition, which celebrated a successful run at the venue last year.
Last year’s December Stone Pony run witnessed two sold-out nights filled with remarkable collaborations between Dogs In A Pile and local brass band, the Ocean Avenue Stompers, along with Nashville-based musicians from Sicard Hollow. The energy and enthusiasm from both the band and their loyal fanbase, known as The Dog Pound, created an atmosphere that was truly unique.
The Dog Pound has been a driving force behind Dogs In A Pile’s success, showing unwavering support at various marquee events on the East Coast throughout the year. From helping to sell out a headlining gig at Saratoga Springs’ Putnam Place in March to enjoying the band’s stellar performances supporting The Disco Biscuits over two nights at The Capitol Theatre, their presence has been a testament to the band’s growing popularity and is sure to grow over the holidays.
After their Asbury Park shows, Dogs In A Pile will return to Putnam Place for a New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 30 and 31. These two nights will mark their first-ever headlining performances during the New Year’s Eve holiday.
Currently, in the midst of their 41-date Fall Tour, Dogs In A Pile will continue their musical journey, with the next stop set for Burlington, Vt., at the Higher Ground on October 5.
