The official Bob Marley One Love Love Experience is set to make its U.S. debut at the Ovation Hollywood (formerly the Hollywood & Highland) from Jan. 27 through April 23, 2023. The immersive activation, produced by the Marley Family & Terrapin Station Entertainment, follows acclaimed extended runs in London and Toronto.
“We are so thrilled to have the exhibit opening in Los Angeles just in time for Daddy’s birthday. After being in London and Toronto, it’s going to be amazing bringing the experience here to the US for the first time and just steps from Daddy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Cedella Marley, CEO of Bob Marley Group.
The 15,000-square-foot multi-room exhibit will feature the entire Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Bob Marley Archive, including rare memorabilia, previously unseen photographs, and various other surprises, including the world’s largest indoor vinyl record celebrating Legend. The exhibit will also host the 2,000-square-foot immerse One Love Forest, which was designed to take guests on a trip to Jamacia through a multi-sensory environment featuring a cannabis garden and a giant doobie.
Additionally, there is an area called the Soul Shakedown studio, a silent disco with an expertly curated playlist. There will also be exclusive art from Mr. Brainwash, The postman Camoworks, Idiotbox and dozens of other artists to shed even greater light on Marley’s influence on street art, along with the Next Gen Zone which celebrates Marley’s family, legacy, influence and philanthropic efforts.
“The Bob Marley One Love Experience has already created so many positive vibrations for fans in London and Toronto, and it’s an honor to continue to have the opportunity to curate and produce the exhibit right in the heart of Hollywood,” added Jonathan Shank director and producer of Bob Marley One Love Experience.
The One Love Experience will be unveiled on Jan. 26 via a VIP event with an exclusive performance by Skip Marley and King Cruff. The waitlist for tickets can be found here, and general on-sale tickets will be available on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. PT. Find tickets and learn more here.
