Eggy has announced back-to-back Halloween shows slated to take place in Charleston, S.C. The forthcoming concerts have been dubbed Haunted Pour House as a play off the venue, Charleston Pour House. The shows are scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30 and Monday, Oct. 31.
The quartet, which hails from Connecticut, revealed their holiday plans in a video shared via Instagram, along with the caption: “Take a walk with us down the Yellow Brick Road,” which played off their festive Elton John costumes. See below.
The clip begins with Dani Battat serenading viewers at a candle-lit piano setup while donning John’s signature white feathers and bejeweled glasses as he recites the opening lines of “Your Song.” As the video unfolds, lead guitarist Jake Brownstein joins in along with Alex Bailey in matching oversized shades and starry rocker overalls.
Mike Goodman rounds out the lineup and pops in at the end of the video dressed as Donald Duck. With the bassist represented and all members of the band present, they collectively deliver the final verse of the beloved John standard- alluding to the theme for their concert on Oct. 31.
The spirited announcement comes less than a week before the band takes the stage in the Holy City. Tickets for Eggy’s Halloween run are on sale now and can be purchased here.
