San Francisco rock group, SVT have announced they will release Always Comes Back: The Authorized Recordings as a double-vinyl LP on June 3 via Liberation Hall.
The forthcoming album compiles the band’s two singles, “New Year” and “Wanna See You Cry,” with their only album to be recorded, 1981’s No Regrets.
Initially forming as the Jack Casady Band in 1978, Casady (Jefferson Airplane) alongside bandmates Brian Marnell, Nick Buck (Hot Tuna), Bill Gibson (Huey Lewis & the News) rebranded as SVT the following year and made a name for themselves on the late-’70s and early-’80s punk and new wave scene.
“SVT was a special place and time,” shared Buck. “We came together quickly, we had camaraderie and a singular vision. We wanted to ROCK.”
