After teasing another collaboration with guitarist Leo Kottke in an interview back in January, bassist Mike Gordon has shared a clip of what looks to be a recording session with Kottke on his social media.

The video begins by showing sheet music for a song that is labeled as “Ants.” Gordon then pans up to reveal Kottke playing acoustic guitar in a large room, with a microphone set up to capture his guitar.

On Twitter, Gordon shared the clip accompanied with the eyes emoji. SiriusXM’s Ari Fink also posted that fans should “tune in to @PhishRadioSXM today at 6pE for more Mike & Leo.” See his post below.

In the aforementioned interview with the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Gordon said this of working with Kottke: “We did those two [albums together] and then spent 15 years talking about the next one,” Gordon says with a laugh. “But there were all kinds of things to work through. It just unfolded in such a natural way that now we’re getting closer (to finishing an album). It’s just feeling very organic and pure.”

The duo released two studio albums together: 2002’s Clone and 2005’s Sixty Six Steps.
