On Dec. 10, 2009, Pete Seeger performed a special show at the South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry, NY dubbed, “Think Globally, Sing Locally.”

According to a press release, “Pete Seeger performed this gem of a concert presenting the best of American folk music and values. Listen as Pete gets us all to sing together in a priceless tapestry where school children, song leaders Jenny Murphy and Matt Turk, and the audience participate, weaving a special sound.”

Highlights include Seeger’s collaborations with the Take Me to the River Children’s Community Chorus on “There’s a Hole in the Bucket” and “She’ll be Coming Round the Mountain,” as well as civil rights anthems “Aint Gonna Let Nobody”, “We Shall Overcome” and “Take it from Dr. King.”
