Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returned to The Capitol Theatre stage in on Sunday night to wrap up their three-night weekend run at the Port Chester, NY venue, and the band once again welcomed a special guest that played an opening set at The Cap’s Garcia’s bar earlier in the evening (following their collaborations with Tyrone Cotton on Friday and Red Baraat on Saturday).

Before that team-up, Almost Dead offered two more sets of favorites from the Grateful Dead catalog, opening the night with “Althea” and “Me and My Uncle” before the classic run of “China Cat Sunflower” into “I Know You Rider.” After closing set one with “Let It Grow,” the band returned for set two with “Here Comes Sunshine.” The second frame also featured “Playing in the Band,” “Eyes of the World” and “Dancing in the Street” before a more subdued “He’s Gone” led into the “Sugar Magnolia” closer.”

For last night’s encore, Almost Dead welcomed out frequent collaborator Chris Harford. Almost Dead members Joe Russo, Scott Metzger and Dave Dreiwitz often back up Harford in his Band of Changes, and the vocalist emerged for a two-song encore on Sunday that saw the collective continue their tradition of covering Neil Young tunes, this time playing “Words (Between the Lines of Age)” and “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere.”

See the full setlist below, along with pro-shot footage of each set opener from the webcast on The Relix Channel. Next up for Almost Dead is a run of dates next month, beginning February 14 in Atlanta. See their full schedule here.
