Phish drummer, Maine resident and local politician Jon Fishman will be joining Katy Tur, MSNBC correspondent and noted Phish fan, during her television program MSNBC Live this afternoon.

Today at 2pm ET, Tur’s show will feature a discussion on Maine’s recent experimentation with ranked-choice voting (voting for multiple candidates in order of preference instead of just choosing one) in one of its congressional districts.

On her Twitter account, Tur announced Fishman’s appearance, writing, “Frustrated w lawmakers who get elected without a clear majority of voters? Some Mainers thought so. The first ranked choice election was just held in one Maine CD. Was it a success? Or is it unconstitutional? Jon Fishman joins us at 2pm to discuss. Yes that, Fishman.”

Tune in to MSNBC at 2pm to view the segment (or watch here with a cable login).
