Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre has announced a Stella Blues Band residency for every Wednesday this month. On June 12, the band will recreate Grateful Dead performances from The Cap, and on June 19, SBB will deliver its first-ever acoustic set, which will be followed by an electric set. On June 26, there will be a “Fan’s Choice” show. Tickets to all shows are $5 and the music starts at 9pm.

Garcia’s has also announced several other events for this month. On June 14 at 9pm, Local Talent will perform classic rock hits and select songs from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Tickets will be $5 for the performance. There will be a free listening party on June 15 for the new Garcia Live Volume 2 release, which was recorded on August 5, 1990 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and features special guest Bela Fleck. The recording will be paired with a showing of the Grateful Dead Movie. Before the show, Caroline Corley of The Peak 107.1 will interview Sam Cutler, legendary tour manager for The Rolling Stones and Grateful Dead, which will be followed by a book signing.

On June 21, The Mighty Fergusons will perform at Garcia’s at 9pm and tickets are $5. Finally, on the last Friday of the month, June 28, there will be an “Epic Summer Beer Celebration,” with brewers on hand. More details, including live music, will be announced soon.
