This weekend Gent Treadly will headline Hempstock in Starks, Maine. Hempstock, now its in 15th year, is hosted by MaineVocals, Maine’s largest cannabis legalization organization. For Gent Treadly, this weekends shows mark the first time the group has gigged outside New York without the late Vince Welnick, who played over 300 dates with the group over the past four years. Joining the group on Saturday and Sunday, however, will be Welnick’s fellow former Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten.

Gent Treadly’s Greg Koerner states, ‘It was incredibly difficult to lose Vince – we loved him deeply. However, Vince will be with us in spirit whenever we hit it in the future and we feel fairly certain that he know he would want us to continue our music. We intend to honor his memory, send him light, showcase the incredible talent of Tom Constanten and lend our voices to the call for marijuana reform on the upcoming shows all in one fell swoop.’ Following Hempstock Gent Treadly will appear in Maine, New York and Virginia.
