Members of Ween and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will join Band of Changes for a benefit show this weekend. The performance will take place at Hopewell, NJ’s Hillbilly Hall on Saturday, July 8. In addition to mainstay member Chris Harford, this incarnation of Band of Changes will feature Andrew Weiss, JRAD/Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz, Ween guitarist Michael “Dean Ween” Melchiondo, JRAD guitarist Scott Metzger and JRAD drummer and namesake Joe Russo.

A note on the show reads, “We are holding a benefit concert for the family of a beloved Hopewell, NJ community member who passed away in December 2022. The fundraiser will be held on July 8, 2023 at Hillbilly Hall. The Chubby’s Project will provide support to his family and to families that experience financial hardship and food insecurity. The foundation provides meals and nurtures a sense of connection and community to our neighbors in need. For more than 40 years, Rose & Chubby’s Luncheonette has been Hopewell’s gathering spot. “Aunt Chubby” served anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. The Chubby’s Project was launched in her memory during the pandemic to foster the kind of community Aunt Chubby was known for.”
