The 2026 Summer moe.mentUM tour finally came to a close last night in Highland Park, IL. moe. and Umphrey’s McGee performed 17 shows together, starting with a gig at XL Live in Harrisburg, PA on June 11. The final two gigs again featured collaborative encores with members of both bands (which happened every night except for July 11 at Sand Mountain Amphitheater in Albertville, AL due to weather conditions).

On Friday at Cain Park Evans Amphitheater in Cleveland Heights, OH, the UMoe. segment kicked off with Umphrey’s McGee original “Den,” as moe. guitarist Al Schnier and percussionist Jim Loughlin joined Umphrey’s. This was followed by moe.’s “Mexico” in which that group tagged in, while Brendan Bayliss remained on guitar, Joel Cummins added keys, and both Andy Farag and Scotty Zwang contributed percussion. Finally, the night concluded with a version of Supertramp’s “Bloody Well Right” featuring this same roster of musicians. This is a song that moe. started playing earlier this year and Umphrey’s last performed on 4/17/13.

Finally, last evening at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL, the entirety of moe. opened the encore for the group’s “Rebubula” joined by Bayliss, Cummins and Farag. This tune then segued into a cover of Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al,” led by the full Umphrey’s, with Zwang on vocals and all members of moe. except for bassist Rob Derhak. Then, the original “Rebubula” formation of players returned for a “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” tease before closing out the tune.

With moe. in the Midwest, the group has just announced a last-minute Monday gig as Monkeys On Ecstasy at Garcia’s in Chicago. Umphrey’s will next appear on Wednesday at Friendly Valley Tavern in Peoria, IL.
