On October 9, Pete Francis will release his new album, Homemade. This will be the first studio record from the Disptach co-founder since 2023’s PTRN SKY!. That album found Francis exploring an ambitious mix of drums loops, synth sounds and electronic textures. While Francis continues to evolve, on Homemade he also revisits the roots-based music that has been so important to him since the outset of his career.

Francis explains,. “I love song creation. I keep playing music because when I hold an acoustic guitar and step up to the mic, I feel alive. That’s what I love to do, and Homemade is all about love: the love of my family, the love at the dinner table, the love of making music, and the love of getting on the road with my friends. It’s about the love of the game.”

This approach can be heard on the title track, which is now available on streaming, while the video appears below. The record was created at his house, in a studio tucked above his New England garage and evokes that homespun spirit. Francis affirms, “That song is about my family life, and the good feeling you get when you’re around your people. During the tsunami of AI that is trying to overtake us, I’m coming back to the homemade — to the soul of being with family and friends, of making music, of eating good food and making real memories.”

Homemade is now available for pre-order in multiple formats.
