The Crosby Collective is headed East for the first time. The ensemble led by multi-instrumentalist and Phil Lesh collaborator, Jason Crosby, will bring their blend of esteemed classic rock and jam-influenced mash-ups to two locations this summer, Woodstock, N.Y.’s Bearville Theatre on August 5, and the heart of Manhattan for an appearance at Sony Hall on August 6.

Crosby, Tom Guarna, Andy Hess, John Kimock, Lamar Williams Jr., Alethea Mills, Leslie Mendleson, and special guest Steve Kimock will participate in both events. Before the onset of the mainframe, both concerts will open with a set performed by Spirit Guide, an improvisational celebration combining Crosby and John Kimock’s interplay and shared affinity for Benji Hughes’ A Love Extreme and Another Extreme

The group’s push out East comes after the success of their San Francisco debut at The Fillmore on January 18, 2025. Night one focused on combining songs like traditional turned Grateful Dead-associated, “I Know You Rider,” with Phish’s “Tweezer Reprise.” “Casey’s Eclipse” melted “Casey Jones” into Pink Floyd’s “Eclipse” and the fan favorite, “Friend of the Lithium,” another Dead blend, this one featuring Nirvana’s “Lithium.”

Following their debut, Crosby Collective added another performance to their history, appearing at the Mill Valley Music Festival on Saturday, May 10.

Tickets for both performances can be accessed via the venue websites, Bearville Theater, and Sony Hall.
