The Avett Brothers have announced a coast-to-coast tour slated for the spring. Fresh dates landed after the ensemble released their 12th studio LP, the first in five years, a nine-track eponymous set, in late May. This resulted in fall tour dates, which will take them on the road this October with support from Jamestown Revival. The band casts a wide net toward the future, looking to pull in various stops from April to June 2025. 

The group’s spring tour kicks off in a series of five appearances with support from Charles Wesley Godwin, commencing on April 3 in Boise and continuing through April 12 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. In between the aforementioned dates, the band will perform gigs in Stateline, Nev. (4/8), San Francisco (4/10) and Santa Barbara (4/12).

After concluding their time in the Golden State, the ensemble will take a two-week break and resume on May 1 in Durham, N.H. In the region, The Avett Brothers will stop by the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., for two nights of concerts, May 2-3. From there, they will bring their live show to the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, N.J. (5/6), Virginia Credit Union LIVE! in Richmond, Va. (5/8), Orion Amp in Huntsville, Ala. (5/10) before a tour closer on June 4 at Providence PAC in Providence, R.I.

New tour dates arrive during a prolific period for The Avett Brothers, whose beloved folk-rock sensibility is being lent to on the Broadway stage via Swept Away–a musical by John Logan that integrates the band’s original music into a captivating tale of a shipwreck, salvation, and brotherhood.
