Today, Sept. 27, Billy Strings celebrates the release of his sixth studio album Highway Prayers. Released via Reprise Records, the bluegrass golden boy’s latest offering expands on his ever-changing sound, folding touches of psychedelia, outlaw country, hard rock and more while maintaining his well-earned traditional credibility across a whopping 20 tracks. In coordination with today’s long-awaited drop, the artist has announced a fleet of Winter 2025 live dates to keep him busy, and the fans happy, through the start of March.

Strings is on the road now and will celebrate his album release tonight and tomorrow with his Renewal 2024 event in The Meadows of Buena Vista, Colo. The quick-picking prodigy will return to the stage next weekend for two nights at Clarkston, Mich.’s Pine Knob Music Theatre, on Oct. 4 and 5, followed by serial doubleheaders at Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Oct. 11 and 12, Huntsville, Ala’s Orion Amphitheater on Oct. 18 and 19, Baltimore, Md.’s CFG Arena on OCt. 31 and Nov. 1 and Memphis, Tenn.’s FedEx Forum on Dec. 6 and 7. After two one-off shows in Tulsa, Okla. and Fort Worth, Texas, he’ll close out 2024 with a pair of dates at Austin, Texas’ Moody Theater and Center on Dec. 13 and 14 and a three-night New Year’s Eve run from Dec. 29-31 at Uno Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

The newly announced tour dates begin in January, as Strings returns from hibernation to ring in the new year at Denver’s Ball Arena from Jan. 24-26. From there, he’lll hop over to Asheville, N.C. for a striking six shows at ExploreAsheville.com Arena from Feb. 6-16. Strings will then make his way down the coast with two nights at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Feb. 21 and 22 before greeting his adoring public in Music City with stands at Nashville, Tenn.’s Bridgestone Arena on Feb. 28 and March 1. The lead-footed road warrior’s winter tour will finally conclude on March 2, when String takes the stage across town at Ryman Auditorium, the storied Mother Church of Country.

General on-sale for Strings’ Winter 2025 tour begins on Friday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. local time. A preceding pre-sale will open on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. local. Fans can get access to early tickets and learn more about Strings’ new project and sprawling tour at billystrings.com.
