Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest will return for its 32nd iteration from May 30 through June 1 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, N.J. The late spring 2025 event continues its legacy as a celebratory occasion steeped in Louisiana’s rich legacy of music and cuisine. Ahead of the gathering, the initial artist lineup has been unveiled and is led by two-time Grammy winner Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience and five-time Grammy nominee Marcia Ball.

Crawfish Fest is slated to feature musical performances across two stages, with sets performed by already-confirmed talent, Southern Avenue, Bonerama, Rockin’ Dopsie, Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters, Corey Harris, Carolyn Wonderland, Maggie Koerner, Eddie 9V, Amis Du Teche, Johnny Sketch and The Dirty Notes, United By Music USA, Ocean Avenue Stompers, and Cold Hill.

In a press release outlining the event, they noted that Saturday and Sunday’s main stage headliners and more will be announced soon. Besides live entertainment, Crawfish Fest will boast authentic flavors from the Bayou, including Arnone’s jambalaya, boiled crawfish, oyster, shrimp, and catfish po-boys, crawfish etouffee, red beans, boudin, grilled oysters, Southern fried chicken and other regional favorites.

The event began in 1989 as an intimate crawfish boil in Northern New Jersey, drawing 70 people lonesome for Louisiana. Since then, it has grown in popularity, attracting nearly 20,000 guests annually. For those interested in securing a spot for the festival’s 2025 iteration, camping, RV options, and tickets will be available starting on October 1, 2024.
